Central African products: Cameroon, Congo, Gabon

Marché Mvog-Mbi is named after a large market in Yaoundé, so Central Africa is at the heart of our aisles. In Sherbrooke, you will find the ingredients of dishes from Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon.

For ndolé, eru, pondu or koki: frozen leaves, egusi seeds, smoked and dried fish. On the side: plantains, cocoyam (macabo), taro, cassava, miondo, bobolo, chikwangue and fufu flours. For flavour: white Penja pepper, mbongo, djansang, chillies and seasoning cubes. And in season, safou (African plum).
